Jimmy W. Fore, 79, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, November 2, 2020.

Services will be at a later date.

Jimmy was born December 7, 1940, in Lockney, TX to O.B. and Lela Fore. He married Vandalee Fore in 1986, in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vandalee Fore in 2019.

Survivors include brother, Gordon Fore, of Amarillo, TX; sister, Mary Shanks and husband Howard, of Katy, TX, two sons, Terry Fore, and Frank “Skip” Oakes and wife Cathy, all of Amarillo, TX; five daughters, Teresa Bates, and Robin Ortega, both of Amarillo, TX, Tracy Labrier and husband Jimmy, of Trophy Club, TX, Lisa Carnett and husband Vince, of Austin, TX, and Robin DeArmond and husband Dan, of Amarillo, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be available from 8:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 4, 2020, and Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

  1. So sad to hear about this, may God hold his sweet family forever, we attend Tascosa Fellowship with them for years. They were like my Dad & Mom. I will miss them so much. God Bless

  3. We were so saddened to hear about Jim’s passing. He was the sweetest man and he welcomed us so warmly out at his place, we felt like family. He is definitely missed, the shop has a whole different feeling knowing he’s not there to come over and visit with us. 🙁
