Jeremy Michael Pendley – September 25, 2011

Jeremy Michael Pendley, 39, of Amarillo, died Sunday, September 25, 2011.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in Dumas Cemetery in Dumas with Jerry Brinkley officiating.  Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Grace Church with Bill Ghem officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Jeremy was born February, 21, 1972 in Austin, Texas.  He was raised in Dumas by parents, Mike and Debra Pendley.  He graduated Dumas High School and later moved to Amarillo and was going to college for drafting.  He enjoyed drawing family portraits and spending time with his nieces and nephews.  Jeremy was an active member of Grace Church.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Terri Lynn Turner.
Survivors include daughters, Amber Pendley of Lincoln, NE and Brianna Pendley of Midland, TX; parents, Mike and Debra Pendley of Dateland, AZ; brothers, Billy Pendley of Dateland, AZ and T.J. Mundell and wife and Jamie of Amarillo; a sister, Michele Rhoades and husband Chad of Dumas; and five nephews and three nieces.
Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas at 500 N. Maddox.

  1. I am so deeply saddened at the loss of Jeremy. I knew him when i was young, living in Dumas…my parents were friends of Mike and Debra..i came across his obituary trying to find him on facebook..I have thought of him often over the years, and hoped i would find him..i am heartbroken that he was taken before i could..I would have loved to have the opportunity to have said just a few words to him…I will never forget him…as i never have…

  4. My brother Jeremy, how glad I am to have known you here on earth. I am especially excited to see you in eternity. We will have much to celebrate with Jesus Christ our Lord.
    My heart felt sympathy to Jeremy’s family. I had a very special place in my heart for Jeremy. I am so glad that he was growing in the Lord. I know that the peace of the Lord was covering him.
