Jack Dale Vick – June 17, 2012


Jack Dale Vick, 85, of Amarillo died Sunday, June 17, 2012.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Gary Wilcox, associate pastor of Redeemer Christian Church officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Jack was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Fort Worth to Elmer and Zelma Vick. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
Jack was an accountant for Coca-Cola for 20 years and then for Iowa Beef for 20 years. He was a former Kiwanian and very active with the Boy Scouts. He was a member of Redeemer Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Camp Vick; and a brother, Howard Vick.
Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Van Marter and husband Jim and Susan Ware, all of Amarillo; a son, Patrick Dale Vick and wife Carol of Suisun, Calif.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nephews, Robert Vick and Brian Vick; and a niece, Charlotte Vick.
