Isabelle J. Weatherly – September 10, 2011

Isabelle J. Weatherly made her heavenly journey to embrace her Lord and Savior. She prepared well for her joyous reunion with family, friends and God. The journey was highlighted by a thunderstorm – a heavenly celebration.
A Celebration of Isabelle’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Isabelle was born in Centralia, Mo., to Ira B. and Ella F. Stark. She moved to Texas in about 1930, greeting the Dustbowl with her parents and siblings. She attended Amarillo High School, where she met her future husband, Roy Weatherly. Isabelle assisted her husband in building and operating two successful businesses in Amarillo. She wore many hats well.
Isabelle spent the twilight of her life between Amarillo and Phoenix for medical visits and relaxation. Isabelle will be greatly missed by all those around her, but is at peace with her Lord and Savior.
Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weatherly; a son, Dean Weatherly; a grandson, Chris Weatherly; as well as her parents and four siblings.
She is survived by one sister, Florence Shelton; two daughters, Jackie Essary and Cindy Weatherly; two sons, Bill Weatherly and Dewayne Weatherly; seven grandchildren, Shari Williams, Shelby Weatherly, Tammy Ferris, Tracy Long, Tanya Strauss, Toby Weatherly and Trevor Weatherly; nine great-grandchildren, Brennan McCown, Larissa McCown, Alec Long, Halen Long, Blake Harris, Christopher Ferris, Logan Ferris, Tyler Weatherly and T.J. Wampler; and numerous other family and extended family.
