  3. Dear Charles and Jan,

We are in Vermont or we would be there with you this afternoon. We send our sincere wishes for comfort and peace to all of you and we’ll be praying for just that this afternoon. The world will be a less joyful place without hugs from dear Polly.

  4. I met and loved Polly and Charles while I was employed for several years at Park Place Towers where they resided. I fondly recall watching this couple go out “boot scootin’ ” several Friday evenings while I was working evening reception at Park Place. Also, as a volunteer at our local VA Medical Center I would often meet and visit with Polly and Charles.

My fondest memory of Polly ~ without fail, was whenever Polly saw me, she would always hug me and give me a little “peck” on my cheek. What a beautiful and wonderful woman, and what a real joy to know her!! Charles, my prayers are with you during this time of grief. Remember, we haven’t “lost” Polly, for we know exactly where she is now ~ in the loving arms of Jesus!!

    God bless . . .

  5. What wonderful memories I have of Polly especially her smile and laugh. I can hear her and my mom (Mayme) giggling. So sorry for your loss.

  6. Dearest Charles and Jan,
Tender thoughts are going out to you. Your precious wife and mother was always so kind and loving. I’m remembering how you wrapped me into your family when we lived together on the farm and bumping into them time and time again later always felt like a family reunion. We share your loss and sweet memories of an extraordinary woman. Much love.
