Guadalupe “Lupe” Anita Frausto, 63, of Amarillo, TX, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, surrounded by family and close friends.

Prayer service will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Hillside Christian Church, 6100 S Soncy, with Matt Campbell and Chris Condit officiating.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Lupe was born April 29, 1957, in Amarillo, TX to Alejandro and Juanita Morales.

She was a licensed vocational nurse and worked for more than thirty years at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center.  She was a hard worker and truly had a servant’s heart. Lupe was a member of Hillside Christian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, crafting with her grandchildren, and attending their sporting events.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Jason Frausto; brothers, Rey Morales and Gilbert Morales; and her parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucinda Frausto of Amarillo, TX; a son, Joshua and wife the Hon. Titiana Frausto, of Amarillo, TX; six brothers and sisters, Linda Eisen, Rita Morales, Rose Marie Wright, Alex Morales, Johnny Morales, and Carolina Inguanzo; six grandchildren, Eternity, Mia, Jaicinda, Joslyn, Jason, and Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Carlos and Michael; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

  1. I just heard about Lupe last night. I worked around her for 30 years before I retired this last September. She was a nurse and I was a Medical Technologist. She was a very special person and she will be missed! My prayers go out to her family during these difficult times.
