Gay Frost-May 21, 2011

Gay Frost, 70, of Amarillo died on Saturday, May 21, 2011.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Kingswood United Methodist Church with Jeff Zirkle officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Frost was born on December 13, 1940 in Hereford, Texas to Aubrey and Ermal Bell.  She graduated from Hereford High School and married Bobby Frost.  She was a military wife for twenty-two years.  She was a medical assistant at High Plains Dermatology for over twenty years until her retirement.  Mrs. Frost loved animals and was a foster parent for pets at the SPCA.  She loved her family and kept up with everyone and their activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Ermal Bell, two brothers, Glenn and Neil Bell and by four sisters, Winona Holcomb, Rose Ferguson, Karen Stillwagner and Betty Davis.
Survivors include five sons, Michael Frost, Steve Frost, Jeffrey Frost and wife Deanna, Mark Frost and Matt Frost and wife Ramona, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Kristy Frost of Rogers, Arkansas; a brother, Jimmy Bell and wife Marilyn of Hereford; a sister, Peggy Alexander and husband Robert of Amarillo; ten grandchildren, Tina, Jeremy, Dustin, Erica, Thomas, Stephanie, Jennifer, Christian, Haven, Hannah and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Amarillo SPCA, 11901 South Coulter Street, Amarillo, TX 79119.
