Fred Madrid, 72, of Amarillo, TX died Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Fred was born April 1, 1948, on the Gonzalez Ranch in Las Vegas, NM to Guadalupe and Fred Madrid Sr.  He had worked at Excel in Friona, TX for many years.

He loved to travel and ride his Harley.  Fred would do anything for his children.

His son, Richard Madrid, preceded him in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Yolanda Oliver Madrid, of Panama City, FL, and Olivia Madrid and Lori Quiroz, both of Amarillo, TX; a son, Johnny Madrid, of Gainesville, TX; a brother, Tony Madrid, of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Lucy Sena and Sadie Mares, both of Clovis, NM; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

  2. To the whole family, we send our condolences peace and much love and prayers. Rest in peace knowing he knew God and gave God glory in all things. Uncle Fred laid his life down many times for others.. He was such a great man, loving all people and never speaking ill of anyone. Uncle Fred we are missing you so much, however we know you are with God. You stayed in contact with me when you were here or there, and you still are.. in the spirit. We journey through this life searching to fill voids and when we finally let go.. there God is. My mom (Lucy Madrid Sena) your sister was greatly saddened to hear of your departure, yet she is at peace knowing that you are with God. God Bless all of you, Catherine “Della” Evans

    1. 3 months after you passed Uncle Jr. your sister Lucy(Madrid)Sena my mom passed. I have created a memorial for you I love and miss you and mom love you so much.. I want others to know what a beautiful person you are…you stayed in contact with me and with mom. We all love you..
