Paschal was born in Amarillo, TX on October 19, 1939 to Franklin and Josephine Bottoms. He graduated from Price Academy in 1957 in Amarillo. He proudly served in the Army after graduation.

Paschal married Mary Kathryn Miller on August 1, 1964 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Amarillo.  Over their 56 years of marriage, they had three children and three grandchildren.  Paschal retired from Pantex in 2006 and after retirement, he and Mary Kay loved to travel going to Germany, Prague, Austria, and Ireland. An avid photographer, Paschal loved to take pictures of their travels and of his family. Paschal was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Paschal was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Bottoms from Lubbock, TX and a son, Marty in 1987.  He is survived by his wife Mary Kay, daughters Suzanne (Mike) Schwettmann and Elizabeth (Greg) Ragland; grandchildren Ryan Schwettmann, Blake Schwettmann, and Caroline Ragland. He adored his family and his favorite conversations were always about his grandkids.

Paschal bravely fought his battle with cancer to the end, never losing his faith or his will to live. Go forth, good and faithful servant.

Private interment services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 11am in Llano Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the High Plains Food Bank or a favorite charity of your choice.
