Brorman Obit PicFrank William Brorman, 77, of Vega, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013.
Prayer service will be at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church in Vega with Deacon Raymond Artho officiating.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at the church with Father Jim Schmitmeyer and Father Barnabus Radke as celebrants.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Vega, 110 Main.
Frank William Brorman was born April 28, 1936, in Hereford to Joe and Margaret Brorman.  He attended St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Hereford and Subiaco Academy in Arkansas.  He served in the Army, SP4 Medical, from 1956 to 1958 and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany.  Frank started farming in the Ford Community in 1959.  He married Dolores Loerwald on June 17, 1959, establishing their home in the Ford Community and moving to Vega in 2007.  Frank was very active in his church, community and farm business boards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Frances.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores Brorman, of the home; children, Monica Richardson and husband Larry, Mark Brorman, Tom Brorman and wife Shannon, Sharon Fangman and husband Fred, Denise Gouldy and husband Clint, Sara Joyce and husband Jeff; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Adeline Loerwald; brothers and sisters, Katherine Paschel, Tony Brorman, John Brorman and Butch Brorman, all of Vega, Elizabeth Wieck of Dalhart, Mary Batenhorst of Hartley, Agnes Galloway of Waco, Lawrence Brorman of Hereford and Helen Miller of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Immaculate Conception Building Fund, Box 250, Vega, TX 79092; Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega, Vega, TX 79092; or to Vega Athletic Booster Club Field House, Box 641, Vega, TX 79092.
