Flo Ella Ardrey of Mannford, OK passed away on March 8, 2019 in Amarillo, TX.  A memorial service will be held, Monday, March 11, 2019 at Mannford Christian Fellowship in Mannford, OK at 11:00 am.

Flo was born July 30, 1928 in Elk City, OK to Jim and Nelia Goodwin.  Following the passing of her mother, Flo was raised by Van and Rae Wilson of Follett, TX.  Flo graduated as Valedictorian of Follett High School, then moved to Wichita Falls, TX where she attended Draughon’s Business College.  It was there that she met her first husband, U.V. Todd.

Flo and U.V. were married on March 6, 1948 in Wichita Falls, TX.  They resided in Follett where she worked for the U.S. Post Office.  The couple was blessed with Flo’s first two children; Donnie and Darlis.  U.V. proceeded Flo in death on December 28, 1952. Flo continued to live in Follett with her two children until she married Bill Ardrey on September 11, 1956.  The couple had three children; William, James, and Wilda.

Flo/Mom/Nanny, was a precious woman that loved her family and friends.  She was dedicated to serving others and celebrating each family member year after year.  She retired from Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs, OK after 14 years of time and dedication to others.  Following her retirement, Flo enjoyed traveling with her children and grandchildren. Flo was an active member of her local AA group for 38 years.  She supported and sponsored many members during those year. Her family celebrated her 90th birthday in July 2018, sharing together Flo’s special touch on so many lives.

Flo is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, four brothers, one daughter, Wilda Jet Thornton, and a son-in-law, Gary Lynn Nace.  She is survived by her son, Donnie and Bonnie Todd of Follett, TX;  Darlis Nace of Amarillo, TX; James and Debbie Ardrey of Mannford, OK and William and Cathy Ardey of Trophy Club, TX.  Flo has 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends that loved her dearly. She will truly be missed by many.

    I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to know you and experience the love you have for all your family members, including meg.
    I remember once me or Lynsey dropped some food on the floor in the ktichenand you said something like “Don’t worry it fell on a white piece of paper”. I’m sorry I don’t remember the exact words but I just loved that attitude:) You had the biggest heart! Love,micu
