Eva Jane Lamm Nesbitt, 68, of Amarillo passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family, after a year long suffering with lung cancer.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with The Rev. Clifton A. Mann officiating. Burial will be at the Erick Cemetery in Erick, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Nesbitt was born on June 27, 1942 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Joe Willie and Ruby Lillian Lamm. She married John Nesbitt on September 1, 2007 and she attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed being outside working in her flower and vegetable garden. She also loved and adored her little dogs, Molly 1 and Molly 2.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Ruby Lillian Lamm; her father, Joe Willie Lamm; all of her siblings, Willie West, Imogene Rogers, Richard Lamm, J. W. Lamm, Kenneth Lamm, Wilburn Lamm, Tommy Lamm and Onieta Lamm.
Eva is survived by her husband, John Nesbitt; a son, Zachry Stillwell of Amarillo; two daughters, Vernia Gail Gregory of Yukon, OK, Pam Fike of Edmond, OK; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
