  1. Gene. You were the very best landlord I ever had. I enjoyed farming your place. And I will always remember your laugh and you always made me feel like I was important. I especially appreciate how you lived your life to the fullest. I have now doubt you are in Gods kingdoms at this time. I also appreciate how good a father and husband you were. I’m glad Dana and I had one last visit with you when we were out there. Loved the time we had together. I will not forget you!!!

  6. My life was a joy with all the Fangman kids and Elsie and Gene! I had a ball with everyone! I will never forget throwing the pie in Gene’s face in Possum Kingdom and how he scared me at my wedding sitting right on the aisle smiling at me! (He always told me he would get me back!!) Or when he and Jones rang the doorbell and wanted breakfast in the middle of the night. Gene thought he should have clean socks, so he sat in the floor and fished him a new pair out of the laundry basket. He left me the old dirty ones!!. I love you all and I thank you for the wonderful memories!!

  7. Uncle Gene, we are thankful for your life and the 90 years you spent with us. You now are in a much better place, with Aunt Elsie, your wife of 67 years, and almost all the family you grew up with. We now pray for the huge family you leave behind. You leave a vacuum, but you have earned your time in Heaven. Enjoy!
I am one of your 121 nieces and nephews,
