  1. Dana-
I was so sad to see that your mom had passed. I remember her fondly as my librarian when I was young and as one of my extra moms in high school who made us a spaghetti lunch frequently. She was also a very encouraging and supportive accompanist for a nervous clarinetist. She was so supportive to us all. I didn’t appreciate her when I was young but I will never forget her kindness.

  2. Sweet Ellen or as I always heard Amy calling you Mama. I’m so glad I was able to meet you through you sweet daughter Amy. I enjoyed the time we talked at the kiddos T-ball games or when you stopped by to see Amy at school. I know Amy feels lost without you right now. She talked about you daily. You were not only her mom but best friend. I’ve heard so many wonderful stories about birthday lunches to the yummy one of a kind deserts you made. I know you loved your family so much. You will be missed by many. I know you will be smiling down from heaven on your family. You will be together again. We will all watch over your daughter and our friend Amy. Sending hugs straight to heaven to you💜

  3. Everyone should have a friend like Ellen at least once in their life. I was blessed that she was my best friend since the 50s. She married our cousin and became family.
Like my son said, “She was always happy and smiling.” She went through a lot physically, but was always thinking of and doing for others.
The world is a better place because she was here.
She will be missed! I will miss her!

  5. I will miss Ellen, my sweet sweet friend, every day. We worked together at Good Sam in Pampa before we both moved away. We talked frequently to catch up on family and friends (and maybe even a little gossip)
I pray for the peace and comfort only God can provide for the family
