  4. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family as you struggle through the grief and sadness. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew and worked with Lee at Owens Corning from start up in 78 until I left in 1999. Lee was a awesome man. He overhauled a engine on my old pickup and did a great job. Enjoyed knowing Lee and lost contact with him after leaving Owens Corning.

  5. A flood of emotions racing thru my mind and heart…

Memories are what we retain and I have many of my old friend and confidante.

He was kind, funny, caring, outgoing and could play 1st chair violin like a champ.

For a time, when I was young and single with no relatives within a couple of hundred miles, his family was my family during the holidays… they were special.

One of my finest memories was a song he wrote and played on his guitar at mine and my wife Nicki’s wedding in 1975.

    I’m missing you, buddy!!! 😢
