Earl Fisher – November 15, 2012

Earl Fisher, 90, of Amarillo died on Thursday, November 15, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Alan Williamson, officiating. Private burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mr. Fisher was born on October 30, 1922 in Tryon, Oklahoma to Emory and Alpha Fisher. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. He owned and operated Acme body repair shop.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Fisher and a daughter, Debbie Drinnen.
Survivors include a son, Richard Fisher of Round Rock; a daughter, Regina O’Quin and husband Tommy of Amarillo; four grandchildren, John O’Quin, Dan O’Quin, Shaun Drinnen and Shannon Drinnen; two sisters, Reba Bailey of Amarillo and Wanda Blocker of Moore, Oklahoma; a brother, Kenneth Fisher of Tulsa, Oklahoma and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
