  3. Sherri & family, I did know Dick closely but always watched him helping out at our class reunions. Visiting was so easy with him. I know you all miss him but hope the great memories help you. Love you Sherri & I will glad to see you when we can.

  4. Dick once told us that when you are on the road, you learn to watch out for the unexpected, and look for the expected, like a certain farm house close to the road that always has a Collie on the porch. Then you watch for the next one, that you just know will have an old red truck out by the barn. That’s the way Dick lived, in his own way he love each and every part of his life, and every person along the way. So glad we were in his path.

  5. Dear Sherri and family. Right now I am thinking of Dick and how happy I am to have known him and wishing I could be there today. Our travels with you both created memories that are enhanced because of Dick’s presence and patience, guidance and knowledge. I have missed seeing y’all on a regular basis the last couple of years but treasure our time together especially this last August when we had the birthday celebration. Hope to see you soon Sherri. Love to all. Sue Essary

  6. My heart is breaking for all of you who got to spend your lives with Dick. He was our oldest brother, but we didn’t have the pleasure to see him very often. I remember one of the first times was when he came to visit when my siblings and I were really young. We were so surprised that we had more family. Dick and Sherri came back to Missouri often when they traveled in their rv. We had such great visits, and will always treasure the memories and photos of these times. We love and pray for all who will miss him evey day.

  7. I’ll always remember our family trips to visit Uncle Dick and Aunt Sherri in Texas. He will be missed by so many as he had such a big heart.

  8. I remember when we were younger we really didn’t know who he was and later found out he was our brother. He never wanted to be a half brother and wanted to be just a brother. He holds a special place in my heart and I miss him dearly. Remembering our few times together were special and that beautiful smile and laugh. Praying that all those memories will help with the healing and stay with me always. Heaven has another angel!!!!!!

  9. Even though we did not get to see each other a lot, the time we shared was full of love. I remember that hat and those boots, 😄The time you gave this Kmart girl a Walmart shirt.😩 I am going to miss your brotherly love…😥 You will live on in my heart❤️❤️❤️❤️

  10. Kevin, Sherri and family. I always enjoyed time spent with Dick, he always made me laugh. Sending my love and prayers to all of the family. God Bless
