  1. Thank each of you for your kind words. Each person expressing their memories of David brings so much joy to my heart. It brings comfort and peace to know you are praying for our family and myself. It was David’s heart’s desire to win people to Jesus. He lived his life knowing that is why we are on this earth; to go and tell people about Jesus! We rejoice knowing he is pain-free with Jesus in Heaven! Trish

  6. Dave was the reason I joined the Old School Auto Club of Amarillo, having met him at the All-Star Ford show. I thought it cool because I am both much younger and own an Audi not a traditional hot rod. Dave encouraged me nonetheless. I never saw him as handicapped as he never complained and always showed a great smile and a great sense of humor. I was there and when his car broke down on the the way to Pampa and he took it all in stride. Although I never met his family I somewhat feel that I too lost an Uncle. RIP Amigo.

  7. Trish, I am sorry you’re having to say goodbye to the love of your life. There are no words to help ease the pain, but please know how very much I care.

  8. David fought long and hard for his life. Even though he was in pain, he was always gracious and made us feel he wanted to visit with us. He will be missed.
