  1. Oh David not you, my heart breaks reading this. You were my favorite part of Lakeview after I left I still came back to visit and I always made sure to call you on the walkie just to visit with you. So many memories with the whole crew. Oh I can’t believe you’re gone. You will always have a special place in my heart.

To your family, I’m so sorry for your loss. David was such a big personality I wish I could take away your pain. I know How much each of you meant him. He is now at peace, I pray for healing for each of you.

I’m very sorry for your loss. He will truly be missed. Prayers for you all at this time and beyond. Love you

  3. David was such a kind, hard-working man. I taught at Lakeview for many years and had LOTS of stuff to move when I left there. David was my #1 helper in collecting boxes for all of my goodies. He checked on me often while I was packing up to see if I needed his help with anything. When my husband and I went back after school was out to load up by belongings, David was right there to help us. My prayers are with you during this time. May God wrap his arms of comfort around you as you face the days ahead.

  4. David was such a kind man; we both worked at Lakeview Elementary together for several years. He took pride in his work as custodian, and was always so helpful to anyone who needed an extra hand or a smile. To his wife, June, his children and grandchildren, we are sorry for your loss. To Barbara Wolfe and Kathy Gilmore (sisters-in-law), we grieve with you, too.

  6. During my first years of teaching, David was always there for me to talk to when I needed it. He was a kind, loving, genuine person and he will be missed.

  7. To David’s family,
David was the head custodian at Midway for 9 years. He never failed to brighten up the room every time he stepped in the office. He was a hard worker and always took great care of our buildings. Every now and then, he would stop and have a sit in my office. He and I swapped many a story between each other over the years. To say that he loved his family is an understatement. He spoke about all of his family often and loved all of you very much. He was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with all of you and David.
    God Bless,
    The Midway Staff
