Dava Delora Lynn Gore, 24, of Amarillo, TX was called home to Heaven way too soon on January 21, 2021.

Dava was born in Mesa, AZ., on March 2, 1996, to Davin Gore and Jamie Brown.

She was full of life and spunk. She loved nature, hiking, her pets, and deeply loved her family and friends. Dava really enjoyed telling silly stories and making funny faces. Dava’s sweet and nurturing personality will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by many beloved uncles and cousins.

Survivors include her father Davin Gore and stepmother Megan Gore, her mother Jamie Brown and stepfather Nathan Brown; brother Draven Gore and sisters Nova and Piper Gore, stepbrother Wade Brown of Amarillo; grandparents Dolores Aragon of Amarillo and Mark Gore of Aiken, SC, Toni Price of Whitingham, VT, Kerry and Laurie Burdick of Oklahoma; step-grandparents Helen and Troy Brown and Geraldine and Bill McBride of Amarillo, TX. Dava was born into a huge family that loved her including many close aunts and uncles and dozens of cousins.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Hillside Christian Church with Jonathan Mast of Hillside Christian Church officiating.  Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

  1. Thank you Lisa that means a lot to us. Yes we are family and always will be. Your mom called my brother Clim and I did speak to her. Love ❤️ you all. Our hearts 💕 are broken. I have 6 grandkids and Dava is the oldest.

  2. I did not know Dava , but i knew her stepfather. i send my deepest condolences for the family’s loss. may the lord give them strength to get through this devastation

  3. To Dava’s family a tragedy like this should of never happened but unfortunately did and she is in a better place, she will not be forgotten and will always be in the hearts of all that Loves her, RIP Dava you are with the Lord now!!
