Daniel Campolla-August 7, 2011

Daniel Campolla, 23, of Amarillo died on Sunday, August 7, 2011.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Jeff Zirkle, Pastor of Kingswood United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Daniel was born on May 4, 1988 in Lubbock, Texas to Ramon Campolla and Lucia Marquez.  He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 2006.  He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, hunt and fish.  Daniel worked for J. Lee Milligan for three years and he recently managed C.F. Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria De Los Anjeles Silva Campolla, his grandfather, Florentino Campolla and two uncles, Lupe and Marcos Campolla.
Survivors include his mother, Lucia Rubalcava and husband Gerardo of Columbus, Georgia; his father, Ramon Campolla and wife Georgia of Amarillo; two sisters, Melinda Cortez and Anjelita Campolla, both of Amarillo; three brothers, Fabian Marquez of Roswell, New Mexico, Ramon Campolla, Jr. of Amarillo and Gerardo Rubalcava, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia; his grandmothers, Socorro Najera of Muleshoe and Carmen Rubalcava of Clovis, New Mexico; his grandfather, Juan Manuel Marquez of Clovis, New Mexico.

    we had met him on one of our job sites,,( i drive truck) he was such a polite young man & eyea that smiled as was just as beautiful as he was,,

  3. Erica, i am very sorry for your loss, Daniel loved you and his kids. He was an awesome father. You and his kids meant alot to him but i am sure you already know this. May god bless you and Joseph and the baby on the way. May god give you the strength to get though this trying time. We all love you.

  5. I did not get a chance to meet Daniel, but I did meet his mother and little brother on the flight from Atlanta, GA to Houston. I learned what an awesome person he was and I know he truly will be missed. May God provide peace to his family.
