Crawford Omar "C.O." Holloway – November 5, 2012


Crawford Omar “C.O.” Holloway, 86, of Amarillo, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Paramount Baptist Church with Lance Herrington, associate pastor officiating.  Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
C.O. was born May 18, 1926, in Haskell to S.O. and Erna Holloway.  He worked as an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 40 years living twenty years in Borger and another twenty years in Kennewick, WA.  C.O. married Wortha Cash Gray on June 19, 1969, in Kennewick.  He and Wortha began traveling upon his retirement in 1985, coming to Amarillo in 1995.  C.O. was a deacon and a member of Paramount Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Wortha Holloway, of the home; two daughters, Brenda Holloway and Gina Holden and husband Dick, all of Kennewick; a son, Mike Gray and wife Jenny of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two brothers, Delbert Holloway and wife Jerri of Longview and Roy Holloway and wife Katie of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Paramount Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 3801 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79109; or to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore Dr. #110, Amarillo, TX 79106.
