Ash was born on July 19, 1986, and grew up in Amarillo. He attended Avondale Elementary, Sam Houston Middle School and Tascosa High School. Anyone who knew Ash knew that he had a good, caring heart. His size and strength were often loaned out to help a friend. He loved his family and he never left his little brothers without telling them he loved them. And he always made sure to give his dad a huge hug every time he saw him.
He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Shirley Mayfield and Elrain Wear.
He is survived by his dad and stepmom, Tommy and Sherrie Nunn; his girlfriend, Amy Pruitt; his mother, Tammy Campfield of Everton, AR; his brothers and sister, Tory, Thomas, Tyler, Eric, Greg and Cheyane; grandparents, Clyde and Helen Nunn of Amarillo and Glendon Wear of Perryton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family has asked that donations be made to the High Plains Food Bank, P.O. Box 31803, Amarillo, TX 79120 in honor of Asher.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-7pm on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the funeral home.
