Carl Manley Hall – June 15, 2011

Carl Manley Hall, 80, of Amarillo died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Plainview Cemetery with Ricky Pfeil, Pastor of Kingdom Keys Church officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Carl was born on March 25, 1931 in Plainview, Texas to George and May Hall.  He moved to Amarillo in 1944 where he served as a fireman at the Amarillo Air Force Base.  He moved to Anchorage, Alaska and served as a fireman there for twenty years.  Carl retired in 1980 and became an insurance agent.  He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Hal Hall of Alaska; two sisters, Alexia Leachman of Amarillo and Clara Maggard of Hugo, OK; a brother, Sammie Hall of Ventura, CA and several nieces and nephews, including Dr. Sancy Leachman and her husband, Craig, with whom he was especially close.
