Billy (Bill) M. Bolden, 83, of Amarillo, Texas gained his heavenly wings Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Sheldon DeVries, pastor of Journey Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Bill was born on September 6, 1937 in Hedley, Texas to Archie and Annie Bolden.  He held one job with one company for 55 years beginning with Golden Light Coffee on the Cain’s Coffee and all of it’s affiliates until his retirement.

Bill never met a stranger, always had a kind word for all he met and he was loved by all.

Bill loved the Lord, his daughters, his brothers, and family with all his heart and yes, he still loved the job he retired from and his dog Smokey.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, numerous brothers and sisters, the love of his life, Sue Bolden, and Lisa Brenton.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Coreta McReynolds, Denise Bolden, Marlene Bolden and Kelley Brenton; brothers, M B Bolden and Travis Bolden; as well as, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bill will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to BSA Hospital for their wonderful care of Bill or to the American Heart Association.
