Bill Watt, 83, of Amarillo, died Saturday, June 4, 2011.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with John Henley officiating.  Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Watt was born on April 7, 1928 in Pampa, Texas to Carson and Annice Watt.  He graduated from Pampa High School.  He then served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He worked for Beacon Supply for many years and then worked for Transwestern Pipeline until his retirement.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pampa.
He married Wathena Burton on October 9, 1954 in Boise City, Oklahoma.  They celebrated 56 wonderful years together.
Survivors include his wife, Wathena Watt, of the home; son, Carson Watt of Midland, TX; daughter, Frankie Mercurio and husband Guy and his pride and joy, granddaughter, Avery Mercurio, of Dallas, TX; a sister, Dorothy Hayes of Colorado Springs, TX and many beloved nieces and nephews.
