Betty Ellen Camp, 69, of Amarillo died on Monday, March 28, 2011.
Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Betty was born on February 25, 1942 in Lyons, Illinois to Ivan and Wilma Marcum. She moved to Amarillo and attended Palo Duro High School. She married Alfred Camp on June 18, 1994 in Amarillo. Betty worked in the grocery industry as a clerk for Homeland and United Supermarkets. She loved working with arts and crafts and was an expert at working crossword puzzles. Betty loved playing games on the computer.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Camp of Amarillo; four daughters, Barbara Reeves of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Laurie Camp of Amarillo, Melanie Pacheco and husband Rudy of Fort Worth and Teresa Curtis and husband Ricky of Amarillo; a sister, Mary Mitchell of Amarillo; a niece, Shelly Harris and husband Jimmy of Amarillo; a nephew, Mark Souza and wife Adalita of Panhandle; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
