  1. I will always remember the last evening spent with Ashley at her home. She was feeling good and had even prepared a couple of her favorite Pioneer Woman recipes to go with Ryan’s ribs. We sat on the back deck swatting flies, telling stories, watching their dogs run along the creek and laughing. It was one of the sweetest times I’ve ever had. What a blessing that evening was!

  2. I think so often of keeping AJ and Candace on the weekends. We would do the girl things- baths, roll hair, paint nails- even a little make up. They had so much fun. Then, Sunday school and a big hamburger after church.. Church camp. I miss seeing her as she grew up and moved away. She was always so full of energy and laughter. She was a sweetheart. My love to her and memories of better days. Mary (Grandma) Stambaugh.

  3. Ashley was fierce in everything she did. You were a kind person. Know you will be missed and we will see you again.

  4. Ashley came into my life through a staffing provider change back in 2014. I unknowingly made the mistake of hugging her at our first office meeting – and felt her whole body become rigid in response to the unwanted physical contact. I can say without a doubt that she did not like me at all when we first met. Little did I know the beautiful, strong, woman who disliked me so much would become one of my closest friends and trusted confidants.

Ash continued to tolerate my presence in her work life for nearly a year. Then it happened… we decided to meet for lunch to review issues surrounding work. We discussed more than just work. We discussed life. My view of Ashley was forever changed.

Once Ashley let you into her life you quickly discovered that she had an opinion on nearly everything. If she did not like something, she definitely let you know. If she loved something, you knew that too.

Ashley loved Ryan, Asher, Aubree and Mason with all her heart. She loved them with a fierce love. She loved them bravely. Ashley was so proud of her family.

Ashley was one of those rare individuals who loved her friends and family “warts and all”. Ash was a person that you could tell anything. There was a chance that she might get mad, but you always knew she loved you no matter what.

I will miss Ashley’s smile. I will miss Ashley’s laugh. I will miss our talks. I will miss my friend.

I hope that I can impact others lives in the wonderful way that Ashley impacted mine. I am a better person because of her.

Much love to Ashley’s family and friends.
