Arthur Frank Schultz, 58, of Amarillo, TX died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with David House officiating.  Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Art was born Aug. 3, 1961, in Del Rio, TX to Earl and Margaret Schultz.  He worked as a furnace operator at Crouse-Hinds for many years. He also worked in construction and as a land surveyor for K.W. Land.  Art loved the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Madonna McLellann; three brothers, Everett, Jack and Steve Schultz; and a nephew, Duston Schultz.

Survivors include his companion of more than twenty years, Lori O’Toole, of Amarillo; three brothers, Robert Earl Schultz and wife Barbara, of Amarillo, David James Schultz and companion, Sue Ann McCorkle, and Donald Wayne Schultz and wife Maria, of Del Rio; two sisters, Rita Andrews and boyfriend Greg Harvey, of Union, OH, and Lisa Guston and husband Joe, of Amarillo; brother-in-law, Mac McLellann, of La Mirada, CA; sister-in-law, Joni Schultz, of Yucaipa, CA; and fifteen nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79106; or the BSA Hospice Care of the Southwest, 5211 SW 9th Ave Ste. 100, Amarillo, TX 79106.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at the funeral home.

  2. Art was a great friend I worked with him for many years and and grew up with Bobby and David ,Art was a good friend and a good man I will see you brother in heaven so save me a place love ya Brother

  4. Sure going to miss him. He was a good man. Great brother, Uncle and best friend to everyone. God toke one of his best Angel home with him. I know Art will keep an eye on all of us in heaven, mainly the Cowboys! Love and miss you Art.
