Anna Smith-Kiser – January 14, 2015

Anna Smith-Kiser, 91, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Glen Walton, minister, officiating.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mom grew up in Raton, New Mexico.  As a young lady she worked at Sally’s Sugar Bowl in Raton.  Mom enjoyed her Johnson Mesa Mountains.  Anna loved to travel with her family.  She loved her church, family, and Eastern Star.  Anna was a member of San Jacinto Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Willard Frank Goosey; sisters, Pauline and Frances, a brother, Willard; her first husband, Hill A. Smith, Sr.; first son, Hill A. Smith, Jr.; a daughter, Jeanetta McNeill; a granddaughter, Vicky Burnam; and a granddaughter, Hermion McNeill, all whom she loved the most.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Kiser, of the home, she loved him the most; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Darnell, of Amarillo, she loved her the most; a son, Willard Elmo Smith and wife Vivian of Amarillo, she loved them the most, a son, William “Bill” Hervey Marshal Smith and wife, Susan Johnson, of Lincoln, NE, she loved them the most; a son, Samuel Smith and wife Rena of Amarillo, she loved them the most; a daughter, Ovella Post, of Amarillo, she loved her the most; twenty grandchildren, she loved them the most; forty-nine great-grandchildren, she loved them the most; twenty-six great-great-grandchildren, she loved them the most; five great-great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews, whom she loved the most.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at the funeral home.
