Anita Ann Linger, 64, of Vega, TX passed away on December 3, 2020

Services will be at 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Vega United Methodist Church with Pastor Ed Powers officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Anita was born in Munich, Germany on October 25, 1956, to Albert F. Linger and Betty Ann Price Linger. She worked as a secretary for the Texas State Highway Department for 34 years and retired from there. She proudly and happily served in Vega’s community and enjoyed doing that so much.

Survivors include her sister, Rhonda Carbajal and husband Roy, of Colorado Springs, CO; niece, Rebecca Carbajal, of Colorado Springs, CO; nephew, Reuben Carbajal, of Colorado Springs, CO; cousins, Joe Linger and wife Jennifer, of Vega, TX; aunt, Claudine Barclay, of Vega, TX; cousins, Vince Barclay and wife Jo, of Vega, TX, Wamyth Britton and husband Tony, of Groom, TX, Rita Bell, of Hereford, TX, Roberta LaGrone, Texarkana, TX, and Dick Campsey, of Oklahoma; and numerous friends.

She will sorely be missed by the staff at Midpoint Café and Roosters Café, by her family, and by her friends.
