Angela Renee Wills-May 2, 2011

Angela Renee Wills, 34, formerly of Amarillo died on Monday, May 02, 2011.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Life Way Fellowship Baptist Church at 12:30 P.M. with Dr. Randy Davis officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Angela was born February 16, 1977 to Janette and Wesley Wills of Amarillo. She graduated from Randall High School in 1995. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree from West Texas University, she worked as a medical technologist while pursuing her doctorate. In 2005, she graduated valedictorian from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with her PhD. in Pharmacy. She completed her residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis where she continued to work as a clinical pharmacist assisting patients receiving lung transplants.
Survivors include her parents, a sister Stacey Giglio and husband Matthew; two nephews Gavin and Ashton Giglio, all of Chicago, IL; her grandparents Dale and Edith Wills of Amarillo; her grandfather Elmer Harris of Amarillo, along with various aunts, uncles and cousins, and her Bassett Hound, Bailey. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Ann Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Angela’s name to the Amarillo Rescue Shelter at 12500 South FM 1541.

  2. I am so very sorry for your loss. Angela was one of the best people I ever knew and was a huge influence in my life. I was so proud to have called her a friend and was so proud of her accomplishments. She loved her family,she loved to laugh and enjoyed life. She will be deeply missed.   4. I am so saddened and in shock to hear about the loss of Angela. She was an absolutely amazing person and a fabulous pharmacist. I’m so glad I got to become friends with her at pharmacy school. She was lovely and caring and always so helpful to anyone in need. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. May God and friends help you all in this extremely tough time. Angela will always be looking down on you with her infectious smile and laugh. She will truly be missed.

  5. I am in awe at the legacy Angela leaves with us. She was one of my closest friends in pharmacy school & I was captivated by her humility & grace. My precious angel that was beside me on this earth is now home – an angel in Heaven smiling upon us. She would want you to smile back up at her & remember her life, not look down with tears to mourn. Her life has only just begun with our Heavenly Father.

  10. Many of us are blessed to be touched by those who are so special. Angela was brilliant, kind, extremely caring, and just had a heart of gold! I was fortunate enough to be able to share time with her through her pharmacy courses and rotations and also feel that the world is a better place because of Angela.   13. My heart goes out to you. I just learned of Angela’s passing and I can hardly believe the news. She was one of my favorite students – an example for so many. I will remember her genuineness, kindness, brilliance, and smile. Praise Jesus that she is now at peace.
