Alveina Berniece Harrison-July 26, 2011

Alveina Berniece Harrison, 83, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  A private family service will be held at a later date in Syracuse, Kansas.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Harrison was born on June 25, 1928 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Thomas and Alveina Robb.  She had worked as a telephone operator during the war.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Cramer and wife Delois of Amarillo; a brother, Merlin Robb of Forgan, OK; a sister, Betty Day of Forgan, OK; three grandchildren, Lana Gibbs and husband Clarence and Wesley Cramer and wife Mandy, both of Amarillo and DeeShane Cramer of Texarkana; two great grandchildren, Shawn Gibbs and wife Samantha and Matthew Cramer, both of Amarillo; two great-great grandchildren, Keagan and Peyton Gibbs; two step children, Cathy and Doug; a special friend, Anita and numerous nieces and nephews.

  1. Just wanted to send my condolences to the family. I remember visits back to Gramma Bernice’s house, she was always so much fun, so loving and welcoming. She will be missed, you guys are in my thoughts and prayers

  2. Eddie…I just want to say how very sorry I am to hear of Berniece’s passing..and especially for your personal grieving at this time,and so soon after the loss of your father. She was such a special lady in my life also…and I will miss her very much. Thank you for being there for her…in life and in death. She was so proud of you.
