He is survived by his children, Riley, of Dumas, TX, Curtis and wife Rebecca, of Wimberley, TX, daughter, Marilyn, of Dumas, TX; grandchildren, Summer Kuchera and husband Miles, of Farmington, NM, and Fletcher Christian and wife Victoria, of Farmington, NM; and great-grandson, Abram, of Farmington, NM.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families and his oldest friend and sister-in-law, Maxine Christian, of Dumas, TX.

  1. He was a wonderful man. How one girl could be blessed with the best of uncles, I don’t know. I don’t have one, single unhappy memory about Uncle Alfred. Just his quiet voice and sweet laugh.

  2. I’m his daughter-in-law Rebecca Christian . Alfred was truly a very soft-spoken man with a quick wit and clever sense of humor. He and his wife Deline loved to talk politics and they knew what they were talking about. Deline was very vocal and fun to listen to, she always had a story and loved to laugh .His son Curtis sounds just like ALFRED when he laughs and they both love watermelon . Alfred really loved homemade ice cream and so does Curtis. Marylin his daughter and Riley his son took great care of their parents with respect all parents should have. We all had good times together I will always remember that. We love you Alfred, we shall see you and Deline again.

  3. Alfred built many miles of fence on my ranch and feedyard . He was a true craftsman. Very proud to build you a strong and straight fence. A great man!

  4. Sorry for your loss, Alfred was a true gentleman and friend, to my mother and the rest of our family. I truly enjoyed the times we had to visit when i was on Dumas visiting. This is the loss of a true friend . God bless the family during these hard times.
