Albert Blaine Robertson – April 14, 2012

Albert Blaine Robertson, 80, of Amarillo died Saturday, April 14, 2012.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul United Methodist Church with Reverend Steve Chappell, pastor and Reverend Perry Hunsaker, associate pastor, officiating.   Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Albert Blaine Robertson was born in Clinton, Arkansas on June 4, 1931 to Beal and Carrie Whillock Robertson.  He graduated from Clinton High School in 1949 and moved to Amarillo on the night of his graduation.
Except for four years (March 1951 through March 1955) in the Navy during the Korean Conflict Amarillo has been his home.
He was a master plumber working for Everett’s Pluming, ABE Plumbing, and Everett’s Faucet Parts.
After retirement, he transported cars.
In June 1982, Albert married Donna Marie Collins in Pampa, Texas.
Albert enjoyed flying small planes, ice skating and golf.   He loved to travel and enjoyed the people he met at RV campgrounds.  He and Donna visited forty-nine of the fifty states accidently missing Delaware.
Albert always said he enjoyed everything he did, and did everything he wanted to do.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife Donna; one sister, Rebecca Stroud of Lefors, Texas; and one brother, Sidney Robertson of Clinton, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews and innumerable friends.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, friends make donations to their favorite charities.
