Alana Wynell Olguin

Alana Wynell Olguin, 66, of Amarillo, TX died on September 14, 2019.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Greg Johnson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

On the eleventh day of February 1953, in Wellington TX, a unique and beautiful soul was born to Dolly and L.B. McNeill. Alana was a loving sibling to two brothers and two sisters. As time went on, she blossomed into a beautiful young woman, touching the lives of everyone she encountered, she soon met the man that she would grow to love and spend the rest of her life with. As a result of this unification, Alana bore three daughters that she would pour her love into. Through these daughters, she would become a loving grandmother of eleven and great-grandmother of six. She did many things over the years, but her true passion was to follow God and to love others. Anyone who has ever met Alana, knows that she was a woman that was full of love and compassion. She had a heart of gold, often putting other’s needs before her own. She will be missed dearly by those that know and love her. We choose to find comfort in knowing that Alana is whole again with no pain or suffering, and that we will be reunited when we ourselves make that journey home.

She is preceded in death by her grandsons, Phillip Luna and Jacob Baker.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew Olguin; daughters, Andrea Olguin, Robin Olguin, and Meagan Baker and husband John, all of Amarillo; brother, Dennis McNeill and wife Nancy, of Amarillo; sisters, Rosanne Kelly and husband Mike, of Amarillo, and Crystal Cross and husband Bill, of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Luna, Shakera Johnson, Isaiah Olguin, Isaac Olguin, Moriah Olguin, Blake Baker, Kaydence Baker, Abigail Baker, and Brooklynn Baker; and great-grandchildren, Elias, Kaelynn, Kyliegh, Jerimias, Josiahs, and Zaccheas.
