Wilma E. Clark, 97, of Amarillo died Monday, May 7, 2018.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Spearman with Ken Cole officiating. Burial was in Darrouzett Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Wilma was born September 23, 1920, in Beaver County, Oklahoma to Harry and Sylvia Lash. She graduated from Darrouzett High School in 1937 and earned a Bachelor’s degree from OPSU in 1972. Wilma taught school in Waka, TX, Dodge City, KS and retired from the Spearman school system.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Lou Howk, of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Donald L. Howk and wife Wendy, of San Antonio, and R. Wayne Howk and wife Angela, of Amarillo; six great-grandchildren, Travis Howk and wife Sydney, David Howk, Grant Howk, Kate Howk, Kyler Kirkland, and Kendayl Kirkland; and two great-great-grandchildren, Malakai and Charles.
