Warren Kendall Johnson

Warren Kendall Johnson, 55, of Amarillo, TX passed away October 7, 2024.

Warren will be available for viewing from 12-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers. Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 11, 2024 at HIS Church, 6300 Arden Rd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Warren was born September 15, 1969 in Borger, TX to Gerald and Ona Johnson. He graduated from Borger High School and attended Brooks Institute of Photography and Frank Phillips College. Warren managed and bar tended several bars and restaurants in Amarillo including Bennigans, Hummers, and most recently the Amarillo Elks Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed volunteering with Boom Adventures and was a huge supporter of our Veterans. Warren loved to ski and was a certified dive trainer. 

He is survived by his wife Courtney; bonus children, Taylan and Gentri aka Shorty; parents, Gerald and Ona Lee Johnson of Amarillo, TX; sister, Karla Johnson-Grimes and husband Jeff of Denver, CO; mother-in-law, Gloria Palmer; brothers-in-law, Ryan Palmer and wife Jennifer, Trent Palmer and wife Dianne, and Todd Palmer; sister-in-law, Corrie Harris and husband Jeff; nieces, Sophia Johnson-Grimes and Sara Disselkamp Lamour; several additional nieces and nephews-too many to count; and A-Town packed full of amazing friends.
