Wanda Nell Corder, 86, of Amarillo died on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Lynn Camp, minister, Southwest Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Corder was born on May 4, 1925 in Anson, Texas to Bass and Bess Aston. She loved to garden and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Emory “Jack” Corder and a sister, Lois Rust.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Swaney of Amarillo; a son, Alan Corder of Amarillo and two grandsons, Michael Corder and Nicholas Corder, both of Amarillo.
The family suggests memorials be made to High Plains Children’s Home, 11461 S. Western, Amarillo, TX 79118.
