Walter Dale Keisling, 84, formerly of Dumas died Sunday, November 25, 2018.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Anthony Inman, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Walter was born August 10, 1934, in Quitaque, Texas to Charles and Carrie Keisling. He graduated from Wellington High School.
He married Loretta Timmons on August 10, 1957, in Swisher County. Walter was a past Moore County Farmer of the Year and past member of Dumas Noon Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Keisling on October 16, 2017.
Survivors include three daughters, LaFonda Keisling, and Darla Sartain and husband Mark, all of Dumas, and Jacala Hicks and husband James, of Maryville, TN; four grandsons, Zachary Shockey and wife Katy, Justin Shockey, Marcus Sartain and wife Raquel, and Kevin Sartain and wife Britni; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Friday, November 30, 2018, at the funeral home.
