Violet "Anita" Jameson

Violet “Anita” Jameson, 73, of Amarillo, TX passed away February 27, 2025.

The family will receive friends at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount in Amarillo on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2025 at Channing Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Anita was born on January 7, 1952 in Lonoke, AR to Lloyd and Thelma Brown. She married Melvin Jameson on November 6, 1975 in North Little Rock, AR and many years later relocated to Channing, TX where she was a dedicated foster mom. She loved to craft, shop, and plant flowers. Anita dedicated her life to her family and doting on her grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Jameson.

Anita is survived by her children, Bonnie Kay (Tania) Addison, Bobby (Raven) Jameson, and Suzanna (Mario Jr.) Garcia; thirteen grandchildren, Deidre Hininger, Aaron Hininger, Kylie Hininger, Sierra Hininger, Jacob Barnes, Rose Hininger, Kenlea Jameson, Jett Franklin, Braden Jameson, Meredith Garcia, Maryah Cain, Buddy Garcia, and Mark Roman Garcia; and two great grandchildren, Leo Cain and Lorelai Garcia.
