Victoriana Ortega Rivera

Victoriana Rivera, beloved mother and grandmother 92, of Amarillo went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Victoriana was born on March 23, 1932 in McAllen, Texas.

Rosary will be on Wednesday August 28, 2024 at 7 pm in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount BIvd. Mass will be on Thursday August 29, 2024 at 12 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Victoriana's most prized possessions was her family. She enjoyed working in her rose/flower garden. She was a wonderful homemaker who devoted her life to raising her children. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for many years and was a Guadalupana. She deeply enjoyed talking and visiting with friends and family. She never ceased praying for her loved ones. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Victoriana was survived by her children, Ric (Linda) Rivera, Adela (Augustine) Mendez, Paula (Ruben) Bautista, Teresa (Jose) Hurtado, Ruben (Gloria) Rivera, Amalia (Joe) Trevino, Daniel Rivera, Carlos Rivera, Rosa (James) Coronado, Jose Rivera, Ramona (David) Trevino, Robert (Patricia) Rivera, Angelina (George) Escamilla, Henry (Maria) Rivera, Esperanza (Sergio) Sifuentes.

She has 43 Grandchildren, and many Great Grandchildren.
