Tyler Britt Jacobson

Tyler Britt Jacobson, 33, of Amarillo, TX passed away on April 11, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 21, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Tyler was born in Amarillo on March 17, 1990, to Sherrie Ann Montgomery and Nicky Neal Jacobson. Tyler attended and graduated from Randall High School in 2008 then obtained his Associate’s Degree in Drafting from Amarillo College. He worked for Parker, Smith, and Cooper for 4 years.

At a young age, he loved Power Rangers often running around the house in a costume. As he grew older, Tyler always looked forward to annual hunting trips with his father, Nick,

and became an avid gun collector among other things. He enjoyed playing video games, skateboarding, and riding motorcycles. Tyler was a talented guitar player and he loved Dachshunds (Weenie Dogs) owning many of his own throughout his life.

Tyler struggled with his Cystic Fibrosis diagnosis but continued to stay positive in everything he did. He was a fighter!

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Tommy and Hope Cox, Joe and Dorothy Montgomery, and David and Charlene Wyly; and aunt, Cheri Jacobson.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Nick and Sherrie Jacobson; aunts and uncles, Madelene, Trisha, Rick and wife Cathy, Scotty, Dale, and Kenny and fiancé Christina; cousins, Haley, Chelsea and husband Brady, Brandon, Rick, Sarah and husband Ty, Shelly, and husband Jeff, Jason, Drew, Melissa, and Celeste; and second cousins, Nevaeh, Travis, Austin, Kanton, Weston, Tripp, Kip, and Annie.
