Trunell Kay Boggs
Trunell Kay Boggs, 70, of Amarillo, TX passed away July 19, 2023.
Memorial service will be at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Trunell was born May 16, 1953, in Amarillo, TX to Guy and Johnnie Loden. She graduated from Tascosa High School then earned her degree in Nursing from Amarillo College in December 1987. She retired from the V.A. Hospital after 26 years and was a member of the Red Hat Club.
Trunell loved to collect antique dolls and listen to John Lennon, The Beatles, and Bob Seger. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Her favorite saying was, “Everything happens for a reason.”
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Johnnie Loden; and brother, Andy Loden.
Trunell is survived by daughters, Amanda Stuart and Candace Boggs, both of Amarillo, TX; son, Michael Boggs, of Amarillo, TX; sister, Linda Lee and husband Mark, of Amarillo, TX; brother, David Loden and wife Priscilla, of Amarillo, TX; former husband, Brian Boggs; 17 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
