Tonya Sue Ross, 71, of Perryton, TX died Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Tonya was born April 11, 1952, in Tulsa, OK to Rosa Mae (Busby) Helscel and Walter Helscel.

Tonya was born and raised in Tulsa, Ok, and graduated from Amarillo High School. She married Irvin Ross on June 17, 1972, she loved being with her family and friends. She was very proud of her grandkids and her great-grandkids. Her favorite hobby was crocheting. Tonya would make beautiful quilts and Christmas stockings. She had a very humorous personality and loved to flirt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Irvin Ray Ross of Perryton, Tx; two brothers Roy Helscel of Tulsa, Ok, and Walter Helscel of Tulsa, Ok; and two sisters Janetta Marsh of Amarillo, Tx, and Tarea Butler of Amarillo, Tx.

Survivors include one sister Sherry Baker and husband Claude Baker of Rochester, Tx; one brother Tommy Dotson and wife Lisa Dotson of Amarillo, Tx; brother in law, Larry Butler; one daughter Vera Kingston and husband Jeffery Kingston of Perryton, Tx; one adopted daughter Jerri Dee Turner of Perryton, Tx; two granddaughters Teresa Milner of Perryton, Tx, and Traci Kingston of Perryton, Tx; two great-grandchildren Mariah and Hydie Milner both of Perryton, Tx; and an enormous number of nieces and nephews.
