Tonya Michelle Richardson

Tonya Michelle Richardson, 43, of Dumas, died on Saturday, February 8, 2025. 

Funeral services will be held at Christ Community Church at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 14, 2025, with Chauncey Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox Ave.

Tonya was born on February 7, 1982, in Dumas. She graduated from Dumas High School. She had worked for several convenience stores in Dumas. She loved cats, playing Shanghai, and any games. She was a member of Christ Community Church.

She married Karl Richardson in March 2003 in Dumas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Word; and her birth father, Richard Kell.

She is survived by her husband, Karl Richardson; two sons, Jordan Kell and Braiden Richardson; her father, Tommy Word, all of Dumas; a brother, Kevin Kell of Tennessee; and a sister, Debbie Speedy and husband John of Amarillo.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
