Thomas Allen Purdy – March 28, 2015

Purdy ObitThomas Allen Purdy, 74, of Fritch, died Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Kyle Wilkinson, associate pastor at Trinity Fellowship officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Thomas was born May 13, 1940, to Cecil and Beatrice Purdy.  He was a pipefitter all of his life.  Thomas married Versie Lee Smith on March 4, 1976, in Dalhart.  He loved cars, fishing and staying busy.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Saucier.
Survivors include his wife, Versie Lee Purdy of Fritch; two sons, John Murray of Waynesboro, Miss. and Jimmy Saucier of Fritch; 5 daughters, Shelia Woolsey and Lisa Saucier, both of Fritch, Bonnie Benge of Greenwood, Miss., Krystal Passmore of Amarillo and Freedom Saucier of Lubbock; a sister, Barbara Anderson of Tyler; four brothers, Ray Purdy of Sunray, Cleve Purdy of Kansas, and Gerald Purdy and Bud Purdy, both of Fritch; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
