Terri “Jo” Stapp, 63, of Amarillo died Thursday, January 10, 2019.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2019, at Hillside Christian Church Chapel with Dee Slocum and Greg Corona officiating.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jo was born August 31, 1955, in Borger, Texas to Geneva and Robert Digby.  She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1972.

Jo married the love of her life at 15 years of age and Dale was the “ripe old age of 16!”  Jo and Dale were married at the Eastridge Baptist Church in 1971.

Jo enjoyed being the director of the YMCA Baseball program for several years but above all else, her greatest joy was being a fiercely loving mother to her three children, Chris, Shannon and Jessica.

Jo loved to travel with Dale and especially loved going to the mountains, fishing and spending time with her family.

Jo is survived by her husband, Ellis “Dale” Stapp of Amarillo; her parents, Geneva and Robert Digby, of Amarillo; her children, Chris Stapp and his wife Renee of Saudi Arabia, Shannon Stapp and his wife Shelby, of Amarillo, and Jessica Weinheimer and her husband Wyatt, also of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Sam, Ben and Joe Stapp, of Saudi Arabia, Garrett and Shepherd Stapp, of Amarillo, and Zachary, Grady, Charli Jo and Levi Weinheimer of Amarillo; and her sisters, Brenda Thomas, and Sonia Johnson, both of Amarillo.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2019, at the funeral home.
