Tammy Kay Maus, 38, of Amarillo, TX passed away April 9, 2025.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM, Thursday, April 17, 2025 at The Loft Church. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Tammy was born November 14, 1986 in Fort Smith, AR to Richard and Linda Newman. She later moved to Woodward, OK and graduated high school in 2004. In 2012, she relocated to Amarillo, TX where she worked at a convenient store, a daycare and at Warren CAT. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and anything outdoors. She loved Christian and Country music and had a passion for animals; they always held a soft spot in her heart. Her greatest love she had was for her kids, Hannah and Landon Brown.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Newman Jr.; father, Richard Newman Sr; and uncle, James Brandes.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Corey Maus of Amarillo, TX; kids, Hannah and Landon Brown of Woodward, OK; mother, Linda Newman of Panhandle, TX; sister, Chasadean Roe of Woodward, OK; uncle, Jay Brandes and aunt Teresa Brandes of Harrison, AR; and many additional family members.
