Tammy Leigh Weightman Anderson

Tammy Leigh Weightman Anderson, age 54, graduated from this life to eternity with her Lord and Saviour on February 16, 2025. She leaves a void that only God can fill. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Hartley with Eddie Tubbs officiating. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Tammy was born on December 13, 1970, to the late Richard and Keva Weightman in Borger, Texas. She was born again into the family of God at the age of 11. She graduated from Amarillo College on August 20, 1996, with an Associate degree in Commercial Art in Advertising. In September of 1996, she met her future husband, Bob Anderson at Bible Baptist Church in Dumas, Texas. Bob and Tammy were married on November 14, 1997, at the same church. They had three children, Abby Leigh Anderson, Thomas Maxwell Anderson, and Wyatt Samuel Anderson.

She is survived by her loving husband; children; mother; and a sister Shelia Weightman.

Tammy had three lifelong desires: to serve her great and mighty God, to marry and love her husband for all of her life, and to raise children who would serve the Lord. One of her favorite verses was Micah 6:8 which says: “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”.

Her family thanks God for the blessing of having a daughter, wife and mother like Tammy in their life and are looking forward to seeing her again.
